DESCRIPTION:Auburn Porchfest transforms neighborhood porches into intimate stages for an afternoon of live music throughout the community. Bring your wagon and folding chairs\, move at your own pace from porch to porch\, and grab lunch or a beverage in town as you explore. Many businesses in Old Town and Downtown Auburn will also be hosting bands\, creating a connected\, walkable celebration across the city. Founded locally and produced in coordination with the City of Auburn\, Porchfest will include light street closures downtown to make the experience comfortably walkable. Gather friends and form your own walking group to explore most of the zones — bicycles are welcome throughout the event. Neighbors are encouraged to beautify their porches\, yards\, and neighborhoods as visitors from across the region come to experience Auburn Porchfest and all that our community has to offer. Porchfest celebrates harmony over volume\, neighbors gathering\, and the simple magic of live performance shared up close.\n Details:\nThe celebration begins with a Downtown kickoff at 12:00 PM. Porch performances take place from 1:00 to 4:00 PM across five porch zones: Skyridge\, Recreation Park\, Robie Point\, Old Town\, and Downtown Auburn. As part of the Downtown zone\, the Auburn Symphony’s 3:00 PM Sunday matinee at Placer High School will serve as a featured professional stage within the Porchfest experience. The day concludes with a Community Sing-Along from 4:00 to 5:30 PM at the Branches of the Carnegie Library\, bringing everyone together in one shared moment of music.
