During her career as a funeral professional (over 28 years), Yvonne garnered a BS in Management and went on to complete an MBA in Management and Strategy and continued to certify as a Six Sigma Black Belt Professional (SSBBP), as well as holds industry licenses for Funeral Director, Crematory Manager and Cemetery Manager.

Family is important to Yvonne.  She is married and has 3 boys, her son (and daughter in law) and two nephews she helped raise as her own.  She also has her fur-girl Rosie that she adores.  When she's not spending time with her family and Rosie, she and her husband love to travel and have travelled extensively across the United States.

Currently, Yvonne enjoys membership in the Auburn Chamber of Commerce where she is also a Board Member and the North Sacramento Rotary Club where she is also a Board Member.  Of all of her various activities, her favorite is rolling up her sleeves and helping in the community.
