They're playing our song live on stage

Description

Placer Community Theater invites you to enjoy this witty, warmhearted musical comedy featuring a book by legendary playwright Neil Simon, music by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics by Carole Bayer Sager.

The story follows successful composer Vernon Gersch and spirited lyricist Sonia Walsk. Their promising creative partnership soon becomes delightfully complicated as clashing personalities, romantic chemistry and the challenges of working together take center stage. A lively ensemble portraying their inner voices adds even more music, humor and personality to the story.

Directed by Chris Harada and starring David Lynn as Vernon and Anne Vaaler as Sonia, They’re Playing Our Song is a fun, family-friendly opportunity to introduce your children and grandchildren to the magic of live theater.
