This is the third in a series of workshops hosted by the City of Auburn to “Envision Auburn” in the year 2045. The open house will include an opening presentation and interactive “stations” on topics like land use, transportation, and the arts. What is the General Plan Update? The City of Auburn is updating its General Plan, an official document that guides how and where the city will grow over the next 20 years. The Plan addresses quality of life issues that impact all of us—including traffic, jobs, housing, environmental quality, resilience, disaster preparedness, and public services. This comprehensive update is an exciting opportunity for the City to chart its next chapter.
